Website Solution Architect position available downtown Toronto either perm or contract - responsible for the technical architecture websites in a .Net 3.5 framework.
Our client, a major Canadian player in the digital interactive space is currently looking for a Solutions Architect either on a full time or contract basis to act as advisor and architect across multiple projects.
You will work with Project Manager, Account Directors, Technical Leads and Clients at times. You will have responsibility for the technical architecture websites in a .NET 3.5 Framework. The projects involve website rewrites and website development for Fortune 500 companies. These sites can include integration points with external systems, Content Management systems, microsites, email campaigns, social media integration, etc.
You will ensure that the technical design and overall architecture are in line with best practices and meeting the client requirements.
In addition, you will research new products and processess to optimize and make more efficient development practices within the organization.

- 10+ years of combined software development and technology experience in all of the following areas

- Minimum 8 years Object Oriented development language experience (C#)
- Minimum 5 years website and application development
- Data modeling experience
- Experience working will all aspects of software project phases
- EDUCATION
- University undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Computer Engineering or Information Technology Studies (or equivalent).
