In this role the individual will be responsible for ensuring the security of the Internal and External networks and server environment. Further, this individual would be responsible to ensure that processes are established to meet the regulatory and corporate security requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure security compliance of the environment including all servers, networking and firewall components.
- On daily basis analyze and manage network data/log files to detect security irregularities using Security Threat Management system.
- Conduct risk assessment on logical security and infrastructure.
- Manage Firewalls and network switches.
- Provide network security support for firewalls, remote access/VPN and improve performance and reliability.
- Create IPSEC connections with other sites and customers.
- Manage Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), centralized Anti-Virus, and vulnerability management.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on a regular basis.
- Update patches and new versions of IOS to Firewalls, Switches, and other secure devices.
- Make recommendations for the enhancement/modification of the configuration to enhance security.
- Manage clustering/HA Firewalls, Switches and Routers for reliability.
- Troubleshoot network and firewall issues.
- Provide internal and external customer support and service for networking and firewall changes.
- Use various monitoring tools for troubleshooting network issues.
- Work in a team based environment and provide good customer service.
- Fulfill all tasks by watching the Global IT Governance.
- Conduct proper change management for network changes.
- Ability to work after-hours to make changes to the production environment.
- Ability to travel as well as work with other subsidiaries within the company.
- Document changes and follow regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Must have CISSP or other equivalent designation.
- Must have minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing and configuring Firewalls and Networks.
- Certification and/or experience in configuring Check Point and Cisco Firewalls.
- Certification and/or experience in Juniper Product line such as Firewalls, IDP and STRM.
- College Certification or University Degree in the technology related.
Nice to have:
- PCI knowledge
- ITIL certifications
- MCSE certification
- Knowledge and working experience in various operating systems such as Windows servers, Linux and XP or Windows 7.
