Our client, a leading digital interactive agency, currently requires a Senior PHP Developer for a contract to work on a project from end to end.
You will build template sites for a client to use when implementing contests. This will be built from scratch. Experience with these types of projects and email campaigns would most likely be required whether in a B2B or B2C environment.
Technology being used and required:
- Must have Drupal PHP experience
- LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Ideally you have experience with MailChimp APIs
Project description:
- To build a website creation and automated email system.
- This system allows our client to create micro- websites for their retail companies.
- Each website will host 5 pages including a contest.
- Potential customers who fill out the contest can opt into email marketing communications.
- Those that opt in will receive automated email messages using an email marketing service like Mailchimp.
Major Deliverables for the Senior developer:
- Technical system design
- Implementation of the database model (set up the databases)
- Program user single sign on from client's parent database
- Program database queries to pull records from parent database to system database
- Build home page with menu
- Build website content management screens
- Build reporting filter screen - create report
- Build document list screen
- Configure Mailchimp APIs for automated email service
- Create CRON jobs to automate email service
- Build social media contest share functionality
Location: Downtown Toronto
Compensation: Hourly rate (This is a contract job)
