Please note that the role is more business-oriented than IT oriented. Our cient needs someone who can facilitate the product management team in the process of conceptualizing new ideas and building operations to support new products/businesses. This means not just eliciting and documenting requirements, but also generating and analysing business ideas, providing input into structuring operations and their business processes. Preferably it should be someone who worked for small-to-medium business and have been involved in building the structure and business process from ground zero. They can hire for 4 months to start and if it’s a good fit there will be a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
Work with business stakeholders to define requirements for on-line business:
- Work with product management on conceptualization of business ideas into business needs for upstart business opportunities
- Work with Business Architect on engineering of business operations structure and processes
- Collaborate with product management and IT in defining and prioritizing product capabilities
- Analyze and document Business Requirements
- Facilitate analysis of potential product usage scenarios (user stories)
- Support Business Systems Analyst in analysis of System
Required Skills:
- Inventive, out-of-the-box thinking
- Understanding of structures and processes involved in operating an on-line business
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
- Experience with Business Process Modeling notations (BPMN, UML), Use Cases and Business Domain Modeling
- Familiarity with web design concepts
- Familiarity with Personas and User stories concepts
- Experience with Requirements Management and Visual Modeling tools
- 5 + years in Business Analyst role
- Hands-on experience in on-line industry
- Involvement in designing operational structures and processes
- Active participation in conceptualizing business ideas
Location: 4+ month contract - Woodbridge
