Content Quality Control Analyst (North Toronto)

In this role you will work with the team responsible for quality control and integrity of research content products and content conversion efforts at various transformational stages in the content supply chain (content, product, output). This person will work closely with Content Editors, Developers and the Content Standards team and will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of content deliverables against requirements and standards during transformation and on output platforms Testing.

• Using requirements and standards, perform content quality control activities related to content product releases or content conversion initiatives that are assigned to him or her in collaboration with members of the editorial, development, production, and content standards teams.
• Review XML content in input format, transformed format, and output format in order to detect faults and trace root cause.
• Design and update content product and content conversion tests in collaboration with editorial, development, production, and content standards teams.
• Execute tests, track defects and follow defects through the resolution process until fix is verified and closed.

Mandatory Skills:

• 1-3 years Content Delivery experience
• 1 year quality control role experience with XML, DTDs

Desired Skills:

• Microsoft Office experience
• Bi-lingual
