Rockstar Toronto is looking to expand their on-site Quality Assurance team. As a QA Tester you will report to the Lead QA in a support role looking to identify and report problems across multiple development platforms.
You will be tasked with isolating and reproducing bugs as well as performing specific tests as required by the internal development team (ie. specific code change tests, benchmarks, screen\video captures, build evaluation, etc).
You will help maintain a bug database (entering new bugs, reproducing and updating existing bugs, closing bugs that have been resolved).
Applicants should have an interest in video games, be good game players with knowledge of various consoles, PC and associated software. Need to have the ability to learn new software and a strong desire to work in the interactive gaming industry.
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Excellent communications skills and command of the English language (read and write to a very high standard)
- Must be comfortable with the Windows environment, any technical skills related to game development a plus (Microsoft Office suite, Dos, Batch Files, etc)
- Must be comfortable working long hours (including evenings and weekends) under pressure when needed
- Experience working in Interactive game Industry and knowledge of industry vernacular a plus
