Flash Developer (Toronto)

Responsibilities:
 

Designing, developing, and unit testing of Flash based Internet, applications and widgets for Captivate 5, utilizing object oriented ActionScript 3 programming.

Skills Required:

• 3+ years experience with Flash AS3 only (not AS2)
• Excellent understanding of Event based programming in Flash
• Strong understanding of XML structure and techniques to work with XML through Flash code
• Intermediate experience with code-based animation of Flash objects
• Experience with Sound/Video approach (streamed as well as embedded)
• Strong Object Oriented Programming background
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (CS4/CS5)
• Experience with source control (e.g. SVN) software
• Detail-oriented, well organized, quick learner with very strong technical aptitude and the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
• Strong command of English
