Senior Software Development Manager (Kitchener)

Location: Kitchener
Compensation: $70 - 95k + benefits

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years experience managing a highly productive development team
• 5+ years experience as a senior level .NET developer
• 5+ years experience in ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, IIS and Web Services
• Complete understanding of the development life cycle
• Have experience with large-scale software projects

Responsibilities:

• Having excellent knowledge of complex database concepts you will ensure team members use appropriate database design techniques
• Establish, monitor and implement best practices for development tools and methodologies
• Have a high sense of urgency and accountability to meet deadlines
• Have excellent project management skills
• Have superb skills in multi-tasking and organization of projects
• Have excellent problem solving skills and have the ability to convey solutions to your team
• Have superb communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with team members and to management
