Project Manager with P&C and or Life Insurance Experience (Downtown Toronto)

Our client is currently in need of a Project Manager with P&C and or Life Insurance experience to join their team of IT Professionals in their downtown Toronto office. This is a contract role with an anticipated minimum duration of 12 months.

P&C/ Life Insurance Project Manager

Our client is need of an experienced project manager that has experience managing IT Development (SDLC) projects in a P&C and or Life Insurance environment. Some insurance knowledge would definitely be an asset. The successful candidate will be tasked to help manage various development type projects (P&C/ Life Insurance system project - Underwriting, Claims, Billing and Cash - and also interfaces to MGAs).
  • 5 + years of Primary P&C and or Life Insurance experience
  • Allocating tasks, monitoring and reporting to management/PMO on project process.
  • Release management & scheduling
  • Updating Project Plan using Microsoft Project Web Access (PWA)
  • Project plan creation and maintenance.
  • Reinsurance experience is a nice to have
Additionally, this individual will be supporting the Project Management Office in other initiatives.

A qualified candidate MUST have 3-5 years of Project Management experience in addition to having PC&C and or Life Insurance Industry experience.
